We were gifted some beautiful quail eggs from a friend who lives nearby.
Aren't they so cool?
And as it goes around here, everything that comes to us is an opportunity for learning.
So we did.
The boys' imaginations ran wild.
They thought they looked like dinosaur eggs.
Water coloring for our nature journals.
We are big fans of crayon resist art.
Aww, little brother, we love you so.
So now that we've observed and painted, we will cook them up and see how they taste.
