It seems as though the flu has left our family!
PHEW!
It was a doozy and we are happy to say good bye to it!
Life marches on...school is almost out for the summer, baby number three is growing and kicking and already filling our life with joy!
We are really excited to meet this guy when that time comes.
He's missing all the fun.

Our how my heart love this boy.
I cannot help but kiss his little cheeks all the time.
I especially love when he has a serious face/grumpy face on.
He usually doesn't appreciate me smothering him in those moments but too bad!

Ava thinks it's pretty cool that she is going to be in second grade next year.
She taking it very seriously and is loving to work in her academic work books even after long days at school.
SECOND GRADE!!! Wow, it makes me both cry and smile.

This here is the newest member of our family.
Rainbow Dash.
She is with us everywhere we go and gives us great anxiety over leaving her somewhere.
Most mornings we are moving the bed mattress searching for her so she can ride in the car with us for school.
She sits at the dinner table with us and brushes teeth with us.
This is the first real toy that Ava has ever been attached to.
I've found that there is something about being 7 and being into ponies.

There is also something about being ALMOST 2 and wanting everything that our sister has.
Sharing is not a concept that is coming easily for Jud man.
Having one of Ava's ponies in not enough.
He must always have one in each hand or else we hear about it.
And he's not quiet!

I decided that this picture should, under no circumstances go unshared.
It IS the definition of joy and excitement right?
Baseball is over and her trophy is proudly displayed on her shelf.
She's already looking forward to next year.

Keeping this kid dressed is a challenge.
He prefers this look.

And that's a good recap of life around here lately.
Blessed beyond belief, even in midst of the tough week we just endured.
Looking ahead to the good things God has in store this summer.
Ready to say yes to him.
Ready to trust him and walk with him closer every day as we take on another little life and continue to pour into the two precious ones we've been entrusted with.
