Central Coast

We have called several places "home" in our first 10 years of marriage, 

This place was home to us for the shortest amount of time but it was also one of the sweetest places we have ever lived.  

We couldn't wait to show the kids all the special spots that we enjoyed when we lived there.

The Apple Farm is just the most quaint little hotel.

It feels like you are staying in someones house.  

Fresh cookies and cider wait for you when you check in.  

Thatcher was little disappointed that we were not staying at an actual farm. 

So many memories at this place.

This little town is so full of charm.

Chickens roaming the downtown, parks, antique shops, and great climbing trees.  

Doc Burnsteins is a famous ice cream stop along the central coast.

Avila is like no other beach I've been to.  

It's magical.

The kids thought so too

We got to hike along the cliffs of Montana De Oro. 

James spent many mornings mountain biking on these trails as a college student.

God's majesty displayed!

So many treasures to be found along our adventure.

The boys think any kind of rock shaped triangle-ish could be a shark tooth, or dinosaur tooth perhaps.  Ava tracks down the pretty shells!

The very best part of our short little road trip was loving on these babies of ours.

They are so special.

So loved.

We are grateful for the memories we were able to make together.
