Thanksgiving Stay-cation

We had James' Mother and our niece and nephew join us for Thanksgiving this year.
What a blessing.
Daddy took the week off of work and we PLAYED!
So fun!

(Grandma and all her Grandkids)

We visited a local dairy and enjoyed feeding the animals they keep there.
We also bought the most delicious chocolate milk...so yummy.

(Seriously need to get Judson some new costumes for Christmas.)

(Our sweet niece is an animal lover.)

We took a last minute whale watching trip which was a little more adventurous than we bargained for.
We had a few sickies (poor Daddy got it the worst) but it was certainly a fun experience that the kids wont forget.

Everything was awesome at Legoland

And then there was Thanksgiving day...

We hosted for the very first time.
It was a big deal for me.
We are so thankful for this beautiful family and extended family God has given us.

And more than anything my heart if truly truly so thankful for Christ.
James shared this verse with our children on Thanksgiving morning.
Not the typical verse to read on Thanksgiving but there is nothing greater in all the world to be thankful for.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8

 Happy Thanksgiving
