4 Day Weekend Highlights

We had an amazing 4 day weekend.
The days were filled with fun and togetherness!

On Friday we headed out to our new home to take a look around and sign some papers.
It was a blessing.
Change is hard and it can be scary.
I find myself laying in bed most nights praying for this move and for my children.
God used this trip to work in my heart.
We anticipate him doing great things!

(Excited kiddos off to explore)

Saturday morning looked like this which is pretty typical for our Saturdays

On Sunday night our kids received their Awana Awards!
When Awana started I was really worried that it would be one more thing on the list of things to do.
It was not.
It was a huge blessing.
My kids loved it.
They grew in their knowledge of God's word and it prompted great conversation in our home.

(Our Puggle)

We got to spend Memorial Day with our sweet Mimi and Papa.
Nothing makes my kids happier.

  We caught bugs

 Got dirty

And enjoyed being outside in the sunshine.

Today Judson painted his "bug house"

And Ava affirmed his hard work the moment she stepped through the door after school (unpromted I might add. Never mind the peanut butter finger mark on the talker...It was lunchtime)
(Translation: Bughouse was awesome and cool and pretty and good and beautiful)

Praising God for breakthroughs, for laughter, for outside time, for celebrating endings and the excitement of new beginnings.
