On Friday night the best friends came over for a Easter egg dying party. Considering we had three young children handling eggs and dye, things went pretty well :-)
On Saturday morning we made sugar cookies to bring to Mimi and Papa's house for an Easter treat. We made the Easter bunny a special cross cookie.
Ava was very into looking for Easter eggs. Since she doesn't eat candy most of her eggs were filled with princesses stickers, bracelets, bouncy balls, etc.
Ava and her beautiful Mimi all ready for Church in their purple sweaters
Oh and we didn't get a single family picture :-( So here is the belly...large and in charge at 23 weeks

That was an adorable post. She is growing up so quickly but I will be home soon enough to see more of that progress! Love you so much! I have such a beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteGlad Ava enjoyed her first official Easter celebration! A little tip I learned for dying eggs with young kids, put the egg inside of a whisk and use deep cups to prevent spills. That way they can dye the eggs on their own and you don't have to worry about dropping eggs (and for us, fewer spills)! It has worked wonders with our little man.
