Garden box and herb garden

Our life and perspective has changed so much since we moved from Orange County.
We have met many people here who live on a bit of land and grow fruits and vegetables in their yard.
So we are getting our toes wet and trying a few things.

As we've researched, we've seen blogs of people who live on acres upon acres and grow rows and rows of produce.
I see our little planter box out of my window, that my husband made us, and I SMILE!
God is so good to give us exactly what we have.
No more and no less.
And the same is true for all of our life before the Lord.
All that he has given is enough and we tend well to what he has entrusted to us; our children, our home, our marriage, and our little herbs and vegetables too!

The Herbs:
We WAY over planted these seeds but we plan to let them grow inside and then move most of them to a larger area once established.
Each child got to choose one herb to plant that they are watering and keeping an eye on.

(Cilantro)

(Basil)

(Rosemary)

All planted and ready to go

Just about a week later

Garden Box:
Hubby wins a major award for completing this project in triple digit, brutal heat!

(Thatcher too!)

(Tomatoes)

(Zucchini)

(Strawberries)

And a few flower seeds that we planted.
We will start with these three and see how it goes!

Isn't it pretty?
Thank you James for the hard work.
We are excited to watch it grow!

"They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God." -Psalm 92:13
