Our house is looking like a HOUSE! It's been incredible to watch it go up.
Cabinets have been put in and the kitchen is taking shape.
We will probably only see it a couple more times before it's ready for move in.
Yesterday we walked around the home and prayed for it.
We asked that it would be God's house.
A place that glorifies him.
James and I picked out verses for different rooms in the home and wrote them on the concrete.
Playroom: 1 Timothy 4:12
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
Ava's Room: Romans 8:37-39
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Boys Room: Ephesians 6:13-17
"...Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. in addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
Sweet Ava insisted that we leave a note for the builders and she also prayed for them.
We packed a few boxes this weekend.
Come on September!
