Baseball is a big part of our lives every spring, summer, and fall.
We are so happy it's back.
I love my baseball kids.
Don't forget this brother, along for the ride.
He'll be out there throwing and catching next season.
Saturdays on the field and evenings with the Padres on TV.
Baseball is such a comfort...it's familiar...it's what we do :-)
I love our team of 5.
We work together. We are on each other's side. We all have unique strengths and positions within our family unit.
If my children were baseball players...
Ava would most definitely be the pitcher.
MOST definitely! She loves to be in control. She loves running the show. If she's off, she really off. If she's on, she's unstoppable, unbeatable :-)
Judson would be our first baseman. He takes everything that comes at him. He absorbs it all! He's consistent and steady and reliable.
Thatcher, well, it's a bit too early to decide, but at this point, I'm putting him in center field. He's all over the place. Being the third child, he covers a lot of ground. He is quick and fun and the CENTER of attention right now.
So here we go with another year of PADRE baseball (Jr. Dodger baseball ONLY on Saturday afternoons and then all mention of the Dodgers is prohibited.) Maybe this is our year, although it probably wont be...very rarely is. But we love it and we love cheering on our team. Both on the field AND in our home.
