Summer Joys

There has been so much to celebrate this summer...

Ava made the decision to be baptized, alongside some sweet family friends, this summer.  

We are so thankful that she belongs to Jesus and he belongs to her.

It was a special day indeed...full of joy!

James and I celebrated 12 years of marriage.

 It is truly a joy to do life with him.

We went on a family date to La Jolla. 

What a sweet spot to enjoy some together time.

We have also enjoyed dreaming about what might be in our future here

And have spent peaceful days by the sea.

Kayaking

Today was a pleasant, perfect Friday.

It was nothing out of the ordinary.  

Just full of the people I love in the place I love.  

These hydrangeas while having my morning coffee.  

This lovely motoring through another puzzle.  

She loves her puzzles and Mama loves watching her do the things she loves.  

Planting more flowers in my humble little garden space.  

And soaking in the sound of littles playing and laughing on the lawn.  

It was a happy Friday.

It's not easy to find activities that can be done with the use of only one hand. 

Sewing has recently become a favorite hobby for Ava, and one that she can do well!
