While still being relatively new to this homeschooling thing, one thing is crystal clear...
School does not happen between the hours of 8 and 3 only, and it doesn't look the same every day.
It doesn't always happen on weekdays, and it doesn't always happen at a desk.

Sometimes we do school in our pajamas, and sometimes in the car.
Sometimes we do school sitting at a desk, but when the littles are cranky, we sit on the rug so they can sit with Mommy.
Sometimes we do two days worth in one day, and sometimes we do half a day just because.
Being flexible is the name of the game.
It works as long as we make it work (which is easier somedays than others, but we do our best.)
Most importantly, I am thankful for the opportunity to learn as we live...
Combining subjects, learning creatively, having fun, field trips with others, and being together.

Learning as we go over here.
Thankful for God's grace daily and the opportunities that he provides us to learn and grow. .
"Love the Lord your
God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your
hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about
them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down
and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your
foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your
houses and on your gates."
