End of the year

Although we will keep doing school right on through the summer, many of our extra curricular activities are wrapping up.

Some of our end of the year fun...

We participated in a PSP this year at Revival Christian Academy.
This allowed us to meet some wonderful homeschooling families.
Ava particularly enjoyed Keeper Club and Art class.
(Keepers of the Faith tea party and talent show...Ava did hula hoop for her talent.)

(She was so proud of this sunflower canvas that she worked on in art class.)

Science time with SLIME!
This stuff is still providing fun weeks later.

Ladybug life cycle study.

(little toddler art just makes my heart swoon.)

Field Trips!
Strawberry picking, Zoo, and Myrtle Creek.

What a fun school year!
I can't believe it is over.
Fourth grade and Preschool, here we come!

2015 Getaway

I am a true true homebody but this family getaway was SOOOO needed.
Between decisions about school for next year, housework, long commutes, and work stress for James, we were missing the things that we treasure most.
Board games, laughter, slumber parties...
Family time.
So we took a very last minute trip down the coast and did nothing but enjoy our family.

(Got to stay at the gorgeous La costa resort and spa.
Thank you very much flyer miles ;-))

We didn't have to go anywhere!
This place was decked out with everything a child or parent could want or need!

(Covered in sand all trip long.  That's how he rolls.)

(A rare photo of Ava's head above water.  Little fish!)

Hammocks!
(Judson was all about the hammocks.)

(Is reading one of the love languages because I'm pretty sure it would be Ava's.)

So thankful for a short time away with my sweets. These are memories I am so glad we will have forever.  They will be grown and gone before we know it.  I pray they look back on moments like these with fondness.
