Obviously, at the top of the list of things I can't wait for is meeting baby boy. We are thrilled for that! There are few other things that will come with Judson's arrival that I am very, VERY excited for...
My "Can't Wait" List:
1) Can't wait to see Ava become a big sister. Today my own sister arrived home from a year of teaching English overseas. There is nothing like having a sibling. They are the best and it's such a special relationship.
2) Can't wait to be free of sore, swollen feet, aching back and shoulders, and this enormous, heavy belly.
3) Can't wait to see my mother in law who will be visiting from out of state once baby arrives. She hasn't seen Ava in over a year and we are all thrilled to get to spend some time with her.
4) Can't wait to sleep on my tummy ;-)
5) Can't wait to get some sleep (oh wait, that's not going to get any better once baby comes)
6) Can't wait for my little girl to be able to crawl into my lap, jump on my back, have me lift her high in the sky!
7) Can't wait to have another little life to love and pour into. Children are just such precious gifts. I already have the most amazing relationship with my sweet daughter and I can't wait to build that my son!
AUGUST 27th! CAN"T WAIT!!!!

What's new...
Summer is on the horizon! Ava has one week left of preschool. Her school had it's end of the year party today. I can't believe what a great year it has been and how fast it went! I especially can't believe that I will have a little sweetie in Kindergarten in a few months! Wow, how special!
I am in my third trimester of pregnancy! I could not be more ready to be DONE! I am soar and exhausted and HUGE. Bascially every cliche you hear about the end of pregancy...I'm experiencing! I'm terribly uncomfortable and can't imagine how this baby still has 2 more months of growing to do. I am also so ready to meet little baby boy and get to know him.
I have been cratfting and creating while Ava is at school. I LOVE it and always appreciate orders. I am also having fun making some stuff for Jud's room.
We found this old rocking chair at a grage sale and a friend of mine painted it and made just beautiful! It's the perfect size and color for our little Judson's loft.
That's the general update of life in the Letterneau home.
She's still my little preschooler for one more week

My daughter...
Yep...she's mine. Can't quite take credit for her natural beauty but maybe for the light in her eyes and smile on her face. Today a TON of our friends are headed to Florida for Kazapalooza which is a yearly reunion for families who have adopted children from Kazakhstan. it wasn't in the budget for us this year but we hope to make it a priority next year.
Anyway, as I think of all the wonderful, beautiful, amazing families that will be headed down to Florida, I am inspired.
All those children were, at one point, abandoned, alone, Fatherless, Motherless.
Now, they are loved, treasured, celebrated, as every child should be.
I love adoption. I love Kazakhstan. I love that I've been able to know so many
inspiring, courageous parents and children.
This one still inspires me every day...
